I am a painter and printmaker residing in Eugene, Oregon.  Although I have had several notable instructors, my art education has been largely self-directed.  I would describe my art as sometimes surreal, somewhat abstract, and almost always in anf impressionist style.  I particularly admire the works by mid-century French impressionists and the Bauhaus design movement. Their influence is evident in my compositions. 

I continue to explore new techniques and themes.  I find that the art muse keeps whispering in my ear. Unfinished compositions are languishing in piles in my living room. I don’t know where these images come from, but I am certain that there are more to come ....
